Setting goals for myself is something that I have been doing for my entire life. A goal I set for myself when I was in elementary school is to play field hockey in college. What makes me a good candidate for your team is my willing to help others, leadership skills, passion for the sport of field hockey, and upbeat attitude. What makes me different than most other people is my respect for everyone. I don't know what is going on inside my teammates or opponents head, so I treat them both with the same respect. You never know what kind of a day someone had so I try my best to always make people smile and laugh. Helping people is something that I love doing, whether it is on the field or in the classroom. During my study halls for my freshman year, I tutored my peers in math. I tutored for a total of 30 hours! I helped some upperclassman who I didn't know on a personal level and I tutored some of my teammates when they were struggling. To have a strong team, everyone needs to be there for each other. I love learning new things! A new skill, a new unit in school, but most of all, I love meeting new people! I love being on a team with girls that I can count on for anything. My aspiration in life is to be happy, plain and simply happy. Field hockey is what makes me happy.
