Personal Statement
I am an athletic, competitive field hockey forward/midfielder from Cherry Hill, NJ. I have been a member of Spirit of USA field hockey club team for the past 5 years. We had a successful 2017 indoor season, winning the U16’s National Indoor Tournament at the Spooky Nook training facility. I am a varsity starter for Camden Catholic High School. I was selected 2nd team all-olympic conference mid-fielder my sophomore year. Being a multi-sport athlete for many years, I have developed my athletic abilities through hard work, dedication, and a drive to succeed. I am a team player that leads by example.
I have achieved a successful balance between academics and athletics. During my sophomore year, I took four honors classes and my weighted GPA was 3.69. I have an interest in math and science and look forward to pursuing a college degree in a related field.
My ideal school would be a mid to large size college with opportunities to succeed as a scholar-athlete. I am looking for a college that will allow me to push myself both in the classroom and on the field.
