Hi! My name is Alex Blaszczyk, and I am a goalkeeper from Colts Neck High School, NJ. I picked up field hockey in 8th grade, and goalkeeper in freshman year. In college I hope to major in computer science and work in the cybersecurity field, however that is not set in stone. I hope to attend a liberal arts school, where I can take various classes and really try out different things. Field hockey wise, I intend to play at the Division III level, where I can find a healthy balance between school and field hockey. I want to devote my all to field hockey in the fall, but still have time to focus on outside interests like guitar and reading during the offseason! I am very methodical when it comes to field hockey, and enjoy every aspect, from footwork and conditioning, to 1v1s and strokes. I am very driven, because I believe hard work can accomplish anything.
