Carlynn Venetz '24 Recruiting Profile

The future has always been something that I had on my mind. Whether it's college, my career, or my personal life with marriage and starting a family, I've always thought about what I should do to help me become successful as a person and as a player.  Field hockey is something that has calmed these nerves and I genuinely believe that I can be successful in the sport. I started playing at the age of 11, and it was something that I immediately fell in love with. I have made so many new friends and I would love to be able to join any program that will help me excel and allow me to play the game that I enjoy the most. Recruiting me would be a very smart choice for any coach that is looking for someone to put all of their heart and soul into their team, and someone that will show others why it is so important to do so. 

Some of my best traits are my compassion and my determination. I have worked harder than most people I know to maintain good grades and continue to improve at field hockey. My future goals are to get into a school where I’m able to play and receive an education that will allow me to become an orthopedic surgeon.
