Alex Senior '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello!! I  have playing field hockey for many years, along with other sports.  After entering high school I realized my  favorite sport was hockey and that’s what I loved and would like to play long term. 

I had the opportunity to earn a starting position midway through Freshmen year. It became a very exciting year as we went on to win a Conference and South Jersey title.  I felt that having to step up at a young age has helped me to develop the confidence and drive to be my best for the team and my coaches.

I have always set goals and worked hard to accomplish them , whether in the classroom or on the field.  I love the working on a team and feeling like you I am able to be a contributor- whether in a game or practice.  I have been blessed with great teammates and coaches that  have shaped me into who I am today.  I hope to continue to be an impactful player and good teammate for my remaining years of high school and during my time at club hockey also.  I hope to better my skills each season so that I can play field hockey at the next level.  With hard work, perseverance and sacrifice I feel I can make this happen.  

I come from two parents who played high level Division I sports, they have repeatedly spoken to me in regards to what it takes to be a student athlete at the next level and how it helped them so much in their future.  I hope to follow in their footsteps and to accomplish the goals I have set for myself.  My work is just starting, but I am focused and ready!
