PERSONAL STATEMENT
Olivia Ahart Class of 2019
I have been involved in sports my entire life. I have played softball, basketball, lacrosse, field hockey and was a Tri County Qualifier in swimming. I have played sports year round since I was in third grade. I now attend Bishop Eustace Prep where I am presently a three sport varsity athlete, playing varsity field hockey, basketball and lacrosse and have a 4.2 grade point average.
I have been unable to play Club field hockey due to my commitment in the three varsity sports above. After being a three sport athlete for the last two years, I have developed a strong passion for field hockey and that is what I want to pursue in college. I am competitive by nature, and am willing to do anything I can possibly do to become the best field hockey player I can be. I am not playing basketball and am playing Club field hockey this winter and spring to improve my all around game.
Our high school team has enjoyed huge success, we won the 2016 New Jersey State Championship, and won the 2017 State Sectional South Jersey title where I started on defense both years.
In addition to playing high school and club field hockey, I am working with a private trainer every week to continually improve my speed and agility. I want to play and significantly contribute to a collegiate team, build lifelong relationships with players and coaches and enjoy the incredible college experience. I am a strong student with a 4.2 GPA and looking to find the college that will provide me the opportunity to be challenged both academically and athletically.
