Taylor Summers '24 Recruiting Profile

In my freshman and sophomore year, I was a goalie for soccer. I never even heard of the sport field hockey before, never watched a game let alone play one. However, my junior year I switched to field hockey because they were in desperate need for a Varsity goalie. Through the season, I was extremely coachable and was eager to soak up as much information as I could because I refused to let my team down. This determination to be the best that I could for the team led me to becoming 1st team all county, 2nd team all league conference, attaining  a 86% save record with over 100 saves, and a 10 game shutout season for my very first year playing. By accomplishing all of this in my first year, with your guidance and my determination I could contribute so much to a team and lead the team to victory.
