Nicole Conklin '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Nicole Conklin and I am part of the 2025 class.  Field hockey is a sport that I have fallen in love with over the past 8 years.  Since I started, I've always dreamed of playing sports in college.  Field hockey has taught me to be hardworking, passionate, a good leader, and to always have a good attitude on and off the field.  My coaches over the years have helped me tremendously, and my love for this sport has grown.  For the 2021 season, I started as a Freshman for my high school Varsity team.  I played almost every position, including midfield, defense and forward.  I'm a versatile player and I'm willing to play wherever my team needs me most.  I am very coachable.  I am always seeking feedback and looking to improve my game.  

The work ethic and leadership skills I've developed while playing field hockey have also helped me in the classroom.  I am in all Honors and AP classes and keep an overall 96 average.  I am a straight A student with a good work ethic and strive to do well in everything I do.  I pride myself in my academics and know that school is just as important as sports.  I keep up with my work and although I have practices and clinics I know how to manage my time and get all my work done and done well.
