Margaret Phipps '19 Recruiting Profile

I am a junior at Fairport High School.  I have been playing Varsity Field Hockey for four years as a starting forward.  I have led Fairport for the last four years in assists.  This year I’ve earned my third All County title and my second All Greater Rochester and All State titles. I have also received the award the Division one Player of the Year and our schools Red Raider award. I have been playing for the joy of it since I was eight years old.  I think I am very coachable, dependable and a total team player. My goal is to continue playing in my college career.  My second varsity letter is in Track and Field for hurdles and high jump.

 Besides playing Field Hockey I love other outdoor activities such as riding four wheelers, snowmobiling, hunting with my Dad (I have my bow and gun certificates), snorkeling in the Finger Lakes, and skiing with my friends.  I also play saxophone for my High School band and afternoon Jazz band and enjoy singing and playing guitar at coffee houses.

 I am an honor student and have maintained a 90GPA since my freshman year.
