Field hockey is a big part of my life, I have played and loved this sport since second grade. I became interested when watched our high school varsity field hockey team play on our home field and thought, I want play on that field when I get older, I was hooked. I have dreamed of playing field hockey at the college level, while getting a degree in Biology to someday become a veterinarian. I have a love of all animals and want to help the world one animal at a time. Education is very important to my family and myself. Field hockey has helped to me grow and mature as a person, build character and strength, it has helped me in many ways on and off the field.
I am fortunate enough to be part of an amazing program, although we have not won a state title, I learned the value of teamwork, commitment, sacrifice, and leadership. I'm looking for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically as well as academically. I believe that I have the talent to compete for a college team, but the character, work-ethic, and leadership skills to make an immediate impact on a program. I have made many friends through the years and have had many opportunities because of the sport.
