Personal Statement
I've played field hockey since 3rd grade and became serious about the game in 8th grade. While I also run on the sprint team for my high school, field hockey is my first love. I'm an aggressive and fearless defender who loves the competition on the field and the camaraderie with my teammates. I'm a hard worker, a quick learner, and an encouraging teammate. I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at 4 years old and have come to realize the importance of fitness and nutrition. Ideally, I would love to play for a school strong in science and education as I'd like a career in physical therapy or pediatric diabetic counseling. I believe that I could be a valuable member of a college team - thank you for taking the time to look at my profile!
