Lily Dreyfuss '25 Recruiting Profile

I have not played Field Hockey Goalie as long as most aspiring athletes, but that does not set me apart. As soon as I started, I knew all I wanted was to keep playing and that four years was not enough time for my sport. The time I have lost will continue to power me to work hard to be the best. My overall goal is to play field hockey and win. I love knowing the entire field and sport like the back of my hand and being able to predict the game. I love guiding my teammates on the field and talking to them like a normal person off the field. But nothing beats the rush of blocking a shot and winning. Goalkeepers have to be observant and present, along with coordinated and robust and I believe I am all these and more.
