Graciana Safreed '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello! My name is Graciana Safreed. I am a 17-year-old student in the Class of 2024. I played for Canyon Hills High School, San Diego, California for 3 years before transferring to Lancaster High School in Lancaster, Ohio for my senior year. I have been playing field hockey for 6 years. My position on the field is as a forward, midfielder, and defense.

Before my 6th grade year in 2017, my family and I moved to California, which began my love interest in Field Hockey. At the time, I was playing soccer. Though with the transition to California, there were no sports like that at my middle school, De Portola, except for field hockey. At first, I had no idea what field hockey was. As my middle school years went by, I fell more in love with the sport, and I wanted to continue this in my years of high school, including wishing to continue this in college.

I am an A and high B student in all my classes, and I plan on taking advanced curriculums in most of my classes. I set high goals and expectations for myself on and off the field. I am very much looking forward to growing and continuing my progress in field hockey.
