I have had a passion for field hockey since I was 8 years old when I first touched a stick. In 8th grade I decided to give up club soccer and devote my time to playing field hockey. I became a member of my local club team (Field Hockey Life) in 8th grade when I was accepted to play for our travel team. The skills I learned playing with FHL in addition to the skills I have developed through camps and local teams allowed me to become a member of my successful high school’s varsity team for both my freshman and sophomore years, making it to the state semifinals both years. The heartbreaking loss at the end of the season jump started my desire to continue to get better and strive for the highest level of competition. Every day I want to become a stronger, smarter player for my team, and let my passion for the sport continue to show through leadership and dedication. At this point I have decided I am interested in taking my field hockey to the collegiate level. I am looking for a program that will challenge me academically and athletically. My dedication and desire to succeed would make me a great addition to your team!
