Gates McAllister '24 Recruiting Profile

Field hockey is a big part of my life, and it is a big part of my collegiate goals. I want to play Division 1 field hockey at a school that is not just good at field hockey but has a good program for my educational goals and a good campus environment. I want to join a team that is determined, has good chemistry, and challenges each other to become better. As a person I am many things, a team player, in the game and outside the game, I am an optimist, who believes that no matter how many goals have been scored on us that we can come back, and I am a determined person, who doesn’t quit when they lose the ball or mess up, I get back out there and try again. I carry these traits/values with me always no matter if it is in school, another sport, or in life, these traits/values make me who I am, and I want to find the right school that respects and shares these common traits/values.
