2021 Highlights
2020 HighlightsThe first time I ever held a field hockey stick was in third grade, I began playing for a recreational team from 3rd to 6th grade, and the beginning 7th grade I played my first season for my club team Main Line Field Hockey Club. I began to grow as a player, understanding the strategy and the teamwork in the game. I played for my middle school team and was selected to be captain, there I learned the importance of the game from a mental aspect, and how my attitude affects my teammates. I then tried out for my high school team where I made varsity as a freshman, and our team went 14 - 4 -1. That same fall season I had the opportunity to travel to Florida to play in the National Tournament. This experience helped shape me as a player for my U14 team played in the U16 division. This tournament taught me the significance of grit, that it is possible to do what no one thinks you can do when you have grit and you're a little scrappy. Since then I have been to Shooting stars competing in the A pool and placing 3rd in JPOL qualifying us and landing my team in 3rd place at RCCs. My high school team is a hard-working team as well as we have been moving around in the top 5 PIAA spots this season and are ready for districts. What makes me different from another recruit is that I don't love the sport I live for sport. I live to see personal and team improvement. I love to rise over what anyone could have ever expected from me. I am a grounded, confident individual in my athletics and academics, I am hungry for a win and am excited to further my field hockey career.
