Sophia Giangreco '21 Recruiting Profile

Hello Coaches,

My name is Sophia Giangreco, I'm a Junior at Perkiomen Valley High School in Collegeville Pennsylvania. The town of Collegeville is located in Southeastern Pennsylvania. I play High School Field Hockey and Recreational Basketball.  Through the years, playing sports has been very rewarding for me.  Most rewarding has been Field Hockey.  If given the chance, I would love the opertunity to play Field Hockey in College. 

Playing Field Hockey has always presented exciting experiences and new challenges. Part of these has been keeping mentally and physically fit as well as learning new skills that I can use on and off the field.  Whether a playing a championship game or simply making new friends, these experiences and challenges have made me a stronger and improved person.

I would appreciate the opportunity to keep learning and advancing my skills into and throughout my college years.  Not only do I strive to succeed on the field, my commitment and passion to success in the classroom is paramount to me too.  I believe that in order to make the most of all my years in school I should take advantage of opportunities available to me like sports, clubs, volunteering. These opportunities are also a great way to express my school spirit!

Given the good fortune of playing Field Hockey in college, I'd respect the opertunity through my devotion to the sport.  This would truly be an opportunity of a lifetime.  An opportunity that I could enjoy, reflect upon and appreciate throughout my entire life.
