Elizabeth Gaffney '23 Recruiting Profile

                  Ever since I made my first save, I knew that being a goalie is what I wanted to do. I have been a goalie for the past five years, and it has given me a love for field hockey. This love for the sport drove me to become a part of a club team, where I have been able to grow into a better person on and off the field. Playing on a club team has allowed me to compete in tournaments all across the east coast, and has driven me to become the best I can be. This sport has taught me many lessons that I can use throughout my field hockey career and my life, such as the ability to overcome obstacles, good sportsmanship even when things don’t go my way, and being able to communicate strongly and smartly to others. I am interested in taking my field hockey career to the collegiate level, and am looking for a college program that will be able to challenge me on both the academic and athletic levels.
