Personal Statement

I'm in the graduating class of 2023 at Central Dauphin East High School in Harrisburg Pennsylvania and I have played outdoor field hockey since I was in 7th grade and club indoor field hockey since I was in 8th grade.  I became a varsity letterman in 9th grade for Central Dauphin East High for both field hockey and lacrosse.  I have played every position on the field and am willing to do whatever it takes to put my team in the best position to succeed. I put 100% of my effort into every drill, practice, game, tournament, and opportunity I have to play. I aspire to continue my field hockey career in college and I'm eager to see what the future will bring. I have started and played every minute of every varsity game, in all four of my high school seasons and in both my middle school seasons. I was the top scorer and assister my sophomore, junior, and senior year for the central dauphin east varsity field hockey team and second top scorer my freshmen year for the central dauphin east varsity field hockey team. I started at center midfield my sophmore, junior, and senior years and I started at right midfield my freshman year. I was the varsity team captain my senior year and I was battery on offensive corners all 4 years of high school. I play for Central Penn Indoor Field Hockey Club and have gone to nationals 4 years in a row, winning the national indoor tournament in 2021. I can play anywhere in indoor but I start at midfield. I was also a midd penn allstar, my junior and senior year for field hockey in a conference regarded as one of the best in the nation. I also play varsity lacrosse for central dauphin east high school, where I made the midd penn allstar team and lead my team in goals and assists my sophmore and junior year(over 50 overall career goals).

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
