I am passionate about Field Hockey and always come ready to play. At the end of U14, I went to Super Sixty and after seeing the talent, I knew I needed to grow my level of play. I started researching field hockey training programs around me, and found that one of the best clubs was 90 minutes away. Two weeks later I started playing year round for the WC Eagles. Leaving my club and my childhood friends, not to mention traveling 3-4 days per week to train and play in tournaments while balancing school, was one of the hardest things I have ever done but I did it because I wanted to be the best I could be.
I look for leadership opportunities on and off the field. I am a 4.6 GPA Distinguished Honors AP student and look for ways to give back. I currently co-coach our middle school spring league, umpire for the KAPRB 5-6 program and started a Mentor Program for up and coming middle school players. Last summer, I worked as a certified life guard and actually had 'a save'. Going through the entire process of joining a new club and leaving all of my friends made me grow as a person and a player. I have learned the importance of commitment, sacrifice, teamwork, and how hard you have to work in order to achieve what you want. I truely love the sport of field hockey and I'd love to continue my passion in college and grow even more as a person and a player.
