Personal Statement

Hi coaches, My name is Kaitlyn and I have been playing field hockey since 5th grade. I played 6 years for my school and also with an indoor club team. I am a determined and highly driven student and athlete always seeking feedback to improve myself. My collegiate goal is to study either Biochemistry or Cellular & Molecular Biology and play field hockey competitively. I am looking to excel both on the field and in the classroom by taking advantage of every opportunity available to me. I am a hard worker and take pride in what I do. In addition to studying and sports, I feel it is very important to give back by making service work part of my everyday life. A field hockey team is not just players, it is a family who supports each other on and off the field to help one another succeed in all aspects.
