Hi! Im Alandra Vicioso and Im a low and strong defender for my school Barrington High School and my club Lead the Way. Other than being a bubbly chatter box at school Im also quite the communicator on the field. I LOVE to communicate with my goalie and teammates as much as I love to be aggressive. When Im not talking on the field Im in it to win it at my debate tournaments. Other than being low, chatty, and aggressive on the field Im also funny, confident, and some would even say intimidating off the field.
I’ve been playing field since I was in 7th grade and haven’t been able to stop since. I couldn’t imagine what my life would be without field hockey and my friends. Not only did field hockey make me more physically fit but it also raised my confidence and my team building skill. Field hockey isn’t just a sport to me but also passion. Even after college I intend on still keeping field hockey in my whether I coach it or watch it. Another thing I love about field hockey is that it always makes me look back at my mistakes and think about what I could’ve done better.
Other than having an absolute love for field hockey I also have motivation to reach for the best education I can. Of course, I want to have a fun time in college but also want to succeed and excel while doing it. I’m not really sure what I want to do as a career but I do know I want to help people either in medically or human relations.
