My name is Abigail (Abbey) Chun. I am a class of 2024 goalkeeper. My mom, having been a high school field hockey player herself, has been my inspiration. I have played field hockey since 2nd grade and have loved the sport ever since. Since I have started playing I have gone on to join Saints FHC as a club team. In 2019 I made National Futures Championship, Stars and Stripes, as well as the 2019 Junior Olympics. Hearing my name being called on the Junior Olympic field, made me realize hard work never goes unnoticed. Ever since then I have chosen to push myself to continue to grow, not only my playing ability, but my field hockey knowledge as well. As much as I enjoy playing, I love to give back to the sport. I am a volunteer coach for the local youth rec team. Beyond playing field hockey I work hard academically. I love learning and going to school, I have a 4.078 GPA.
