Playing field hockey is a true passion. Playing in college would be a dream knowing that I can continue playing the sport that I love in addition to continuing my education toward a successful career. I am a 100% team player. As I grow with this sport, I am understanding what it takes to win. It’s not just about scoring, it’s about what led up to the score. How did we get here? The right tackle, the right pass, a good flick. It’s the small things that lead to the greater things. I have learned to play multiple positions based on where I’m needed. If a coach is teaching something to me I take it to heart and work to improve in order to help the team be successful. I leave everything on the field every time I’m out there. I know no other way. Not only do my coaches teach me, but my parents have also guided me on ways to handle myself whether it be with teammates or even as simple as an interview with a reporter. Education comes first. Things can change fast and playing careers can come and go. I look to be successful once my playing days as well as college days come to an end.
