Being A military child growing up was already had its Cons. Moving around every four years is tough, especially if you play sports. Growing up I wanted to be a chemist, but in my stepdad, who was in the military, started reaching me how to catch when I was in 2nd grade and I played contact football for the first time in 4th grade, and didn’t play again until I was in 7th. I’ve been to 2 different high schools since, including moving to Andalusia when I was a junior. It being my first year there, I didn’t let that stop me from competing for the starting job, which I earned the fifth game of the season.
Playing football has honestly changed my life for the better. Being on a high school team that went to the fourth round 4 years in the row has made me persistent in pursuing greatness and nothing less.It kept me busy and out of trouble, and besides school it’s really all I care about. Whenever I’m on the field I can’t just help but smile. I really love this game and I wish to continue playing at the next level while getting my bachelors in Chemistry or Marketing.
