Football has always been my dream and my favorite sport. I was first introduced to football by my dad right around the time I started to walk. I've been playing football since the second grade. I've had some rough times playing football, especially in middle school. I feel like the challenges I faced in middle school football formed the type of player I am today, such as a leader on and off of the field. The high point of my high school career so far has been going from fifth to second on the depth chart for quarterback after two weeks of spring training. I also feel that I grew academically my freshman year because our team did not make the playoffs. Not making the playoffs allowed me to focus on all of my schoolwork such as math team competitions and keeping up with all four Pre-AP classes.
I have been blessed to be a part of the Cullman High School football and Hartselle High School football programs because of the compassion, sacrifice, and dedication shown to me every day by the coaching staff and my fellow players. Through my time at Cullman and Hartselle High School, I have learned the values of selflessness, commitment, and hard work. I am looking for a school to challenge me, help me build my skills as a quarterback, and help guide me to become a great teammate and leader!
