Cole Whitehurst '17 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to attend a school that will provide me a quality education with the opportunity to play collegiate sports.  I have played competitive sports since I was six years old, and I have been participating in both football and basketball regularly as a leader of my schools' teams as well as club teams.  I have always thrived as part of a team and have routinely served in a leadership role.  As captain of both football and basketball teams my senior year, I look forward to the opportunity to develop my skills on the field, in the weight room, and on the court.  Meanwhile, I have been working equally as hard in the classroom, and I have managed to maintain a strong grade point average and improve my standardized test scores despite my athletic responsibilities.  I believe that I can be an asset to any team that is looking for a player who is willing to work hard, to accept criticism, and to lead by example.
