Jaylen Washington '18 Recruiting Profile

I first began playing football at the age of four. Over the years of me playing the sport it has not only helped me in my athletics but it has also helped me become a better student, friend, and citizen. I have gained many skills from playing football that have helped me to accomplish goals and to identify when there is a time to “buckle down” and get a task at hand done.

I enjoy participating in sports and would like to make it a part of my everyday life. One of my current goals is to play at the College level while also becoming an outstanding Student Athlete. I enjoy competition and I strive to make myself the best I can be in everything I do to separate myself from others who are not dedicated.

 Football can provide me with the opportunity to become successful on and off the field. If given the opportunity to play at the next level I will be 100% committed to giving my all for the success of the program. I look forward to college life, meeting new friends and most of all gaining new experiences that will carry me for the rest of my life.
