Many people know that football is the big deal growing up in the south. I have always dreamed of playing at the next level no matter what school. When I was five years old, I had surgery on both of my Achilles Tendons. The doctors told my parents and I that I would likely never be able to play any sports or do any such strenuous activities. I first began playing football to prove those doctors wrong and to beat the odds. Now that I am in high school I play the game because I love it! Both the physical contact and the bother-hood of the game! I give a hundred percent and more, all the time! No matter if it is at workouts, in practice or during a game. My coaches as well as those instructing me at camps, always comment on my willingness to be coached. I have a strong desire to improve and be better both on the field and off. I can often be seen going the extra mile even after practice is officially over. I also enjoy being a team leader and helping my teammates accomplish our goals and task. Besides my strong work ethic for the game, I am also devoted to my studies, a part time job at our city splash pad and participating in family and church activities.
