Hello my name is Shade Pritchett and I am a Senior at Marengo Academy in Linden, Al. I have been a starter on the varsity team since the 8th grade. I have played safety, corner, tight end, and Wide receiver (which is the position I love to play). I love the sport of football. I play basketball and baseball also. I was voted Marengo County Player of the Week my freshman, junior and senior year, West Al. Watchman all county team for three years in a row, All district team for three years in a row, and honorable mention All State team, All Star Representative this year. As a Sophomore I was invited and attended the NUC Top 100 combine in Marietta, Georgia. I was invited and attended the NUC top 100 Elite Prospects combine in Norman Ok. I was invited to attend the NUC All American Games Performance week for Juniors. I was named to the Pre Season All County team my junior and senior years. I was the only Junior player out of 25 seniors named to the team. I work hard both on the field and in the classroom. I am a member of the SGA, spanish club, FCA, SRO, and scholars bowl. I am very focused on weight training and increasing my 40 time, and working even harder to achieve my goal of attending college and playing football. I am undecided in my major at this time, however I am leaning toward engineering or forestry. I am open to explore all opportunities at all divisions. Financial assistance is going to be very important to me in the college selection.
