My name is Rufus Carl Jones II. I am a Senior at Stanhope Elmore High School. I have loved to play football since I was 7 years old. Currently, I play Offensive Right Guard with the Stanhope Elmore Mustangs. I consider myself a leader on and off the field. I try to be a role model for younger players and anyone in my presence. My goal is to play football at the college level and one day play for the NFL. Every day I give it 100 percent in order to reach the goals I have set for myself. I understand that to reach my goals I must do my best in every aspect of my life.
As a Christian, I attend church faithfully with my family, and I am a musician at my church. I am the lead guitarist in our music ministry, and I also play with a Christian group called "Just Because." The name of our group is significant because we worship God just because we love him and we desire to worship him.
As a student, I have a 3.39 G.P. A., and I will be an early graduate. Graduating in December, I plan to attend college and participate in Spring workouts. During my 11th grade year was when I had the greatest desire to reach my goals. I decided to Dual enroll while in high school and this choice has really paid off for me. Still attending college, I will graduate from high school with a diploma and 30 college credit hours. I will attend college in the Spring as a Sophomore.
