Jacob Harper '16 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jacob Lane Harper. I play football for Coach Basden at Muscle Shoals High School.I am an excellent student, maintaining a 4.0 GPA. Academics always come first for me. I am a versatile player, I can play inside and outside linebacker, safety, and wide receiver. Football is the only sport that I play so I take it very seriously. I am a strong competitor and am very coachable. I want to attend a university that is not only competitive in football, but also will give me the opportunity to get a creditable degree in either engineering or academics, specifically coaching. Just like every young athlete, I want to go to a Division 1 program. However, I do not have my blinders on for schools in other divisions. I have interest in attending D1, D1-AA, and D2 schools, preferably staying down south but I am prepared to travel to both the central US and the north.
