Hello, my name is Brandon Bridgers. Everyone calls me Big B. I am a Junior at Robertsdale High, in Robertsdale, Al. I am a proud member of the Golden Bears football team. I am a second year starter for the Varsity. I have lettered in my sport for the past two years. I play offensive left tackle , but I am willing to play where ever I am needed. I have also played offensive guard. I take pride in the fact that I constantly and consistently protect my quarterback. I am 6'4 and 295 lbs. My agility allows me to add dimension to my position with pull and trap plays. I love being on the field playing football. I take pride in being a leader for my team. My team mates look up to me for guidance.I think everyone looks to me because I am bigger, but I also believe that I set a good example by my work ethic and respectability. I was voted as team captain my freshman year by my coaches, because of my leadership abilities. That set a standard for me. I was raised to be a leader, not a follower, and I try to make good decisions every day.
I want to earn a college degree and play ball on the college level. I have worked hard in school and in athletics to make that dream a reality.I currently hold a 3.2 weighted GPA. I recently took the ACT's again, gaining one point from an 18 to a 19 , with a 21 in English, and a 22 in Reading. I plan on taking the test again next year as a senior. I have not really decided what my major will be. I know I want to have a successful college career in the classroom, and I would love to play football with a program where I will be instrumental and act as a game changer. I hope to use my academic excellence and athletic abilities as a vehicle to a college degree.
