I played football as a 5 year old in rural Texas. I played on and off in different leagues and different states since my family moved following my parents' Army assignments and deployments. After moving to Alabama I played youth ball during 6th grade. Thanks to the mentorship of Coach Ramon D. Bing and the other coaches I found how enjoyable football is. I followed that All-Star season with two seasons of indoor football and knew this is the sport for me.
Though my 7th and 8th grade teams didn't do well on paper, I am very grateful for the experiences. I learned versatility and putting the team first by playing out of position on the offense and defense. I came to appreciate the difficulty in leading on and off the field as a team captain both years. Through the close games and blowouts, I learned perseverance and pushing through the pain.
I began my high school career at 7A Smiths Station, AL playing on the 9th, JV and Varsity teams. I moved to 2016 3A DII Champion Gunter HS, TX. I played JV and was on the Varsity scout team. I hope to get a first-class education that will support me through life and I plan to play varsity football and wrestling at the first available chance. I can't wait to expand my skills and knowledge working with the high school coaches and trainers.
