My college goals are to attend a school that will afford me the opportunity to explore my academic as well as my athletic interest. I want to pursue a career in either Engineering or Meteorology. I have always been fascinated with how and why various things work; that interest lead me to pursue classes in both Architectural and Mechanical Engineering. Growing up in "Tornado Alley", witnessing firsthand their violent destruction, watching regional weather man James Spann opened my eyes and interest to wanting to learn more about the weather and what it does.
The first question I get asked when people see me is, "You play football," followed by "What position do you play?" Most often I smile and tell them yes Sir or Ma'am. I am a young man that is blessed with a larger than average frame (260 lb) and wingspan (79") for a 16 year old and a well developed football IQ on and off the field. I've been on a football team since I was 6 years old. My coaches have always told me that I was a natural athlete, a play maker and a team motivator. I see myself as a young man doing what I was made to do. Any team I am fortunate enough to play on will get a strong motivated team player, who is able to take direction, that is versatile and agile and will fight until the whistle is blown. Football has been a large part of my life for many years and it would be a honor to go to the next level and play in college.
