Collen Golden '13 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6' 0" defensive lineman from Dora, AL. I am a Junior and have started defensive line for the past two years. Football is my passion and an anvenue for me to further my education. My coaches look to me as a leader on the field as an anchor for the defense, and off the field with ensuring that all of my teammates give everything that they can during workouts. Games are won during practice, and I always try to set the tempo by giving 110% during workouts and drills, and expect that as well from my teammates.

As far as my expectations of a school, I am looking for a place that I can play at a high level and to get a good education. I am open to any school, but if I had a preference, it would be to play somewhere in the South in order to allow for my parents to be able to watch me play. I come from a large family, with three younger sisters. Money is a factor in my decision as my dad is the sole provider for my family and he is active duty with the U.S. Air Force.  I have not decided on a major as of yet, so I am open to most any course of study.

My athletic goals are to play college and be a contibutor to whatever team I end up playing for. To be able to have the opportunity to learn more about the game and bring a determined attitude to play hard and compete in each game I am able to suit up for, no matter the level of competition.
