Hello Coach,
Started playing football in grade 9 when I convinced my parents to switch school's. This required my parents driving me into the city instead of going on the school bus to the school outside of the small town we live in. Will always be thankful for the sacrifices my parents have done and continue to do so I am able to play football. That being said, I began to excel playing football winning team defensive player of the year, coaches player of the year, and MVP. Began to take football serious this year in grade 10. Started middle linebacker, kick off, kick return, punt and punt return my first year of high school. Would also fill in as offensive guard when someone needed a break. During high school off season joined A.I.S (Alberta international selects) team. Started defensive end, offensive guard, kick off, kick return, punt and punt return on U14 team. Was invited to join A.I.S 7on7 team also. Many coaches said I would make a good tight end but unfortunately neither my high school or A.I.S team runs a tight end in their scheme. The last football camp I attended the coaches mentioned I should consider switching to receiver as I had good hands catching the ball in the drills. I am a very versatile player willing to play any position the team/coach needs.
Since joining the A.I.S football team I have began to work out twice a day (before and after school). Beginning to focus on speed and agility while having a meal plan. Have also joined the track and field team with my high school this year. Before football played lacrosse, water polo, and was part of the downhill ski team. Since my first high school football season it has become by dream to play football at the next level for a college/university team preferably in the USA. Willing to do whatever it takes to play at the next level. My first year in high school during the football season I was focused on football I did let my math grades slip. After the season was over I realized I would not be able to play the next level unless my grades improved. Will be attending summer school to redo math and get onto honor roll as a student. Learning to manage my time to not only play football but also become a stand out student so I can play at the next level. Also in flight academy with my high school and will graduate with a private pilots license.
As a player I am very versatile and willing to do whatever it takes to help the team/coach. Willing to play any position coaches/team needs me to fill. Playing both offense, defense and special teams has given me excellent football IQ. Looking forward to showcasing my skills and joining your program!
Regards,
