Personal Statement

I am a versatile, agile, and quick learning football player. I would have played Receiver on my high school varsity team during my Grade 10 year but covid-19 ended all high school football in Alberta that season. In the next season I transitioned into a starting Defensive End which I played for my final two seasons. Our defense allowed only one team to score points against us in our regular season, and we won the Provincial Championship in my Junior year.

Knowing that my athleticism and size are better suited for Linebacker, I spent January and February 2023 training as a LB with the Alberta Selects. The Battle of the Prairies film on my profile was after only 4 weeks of training. We competed 4 weeks later in San Antonio. After this short season of training, I was honored to be named the Alberta Selects Linebacker MVP.

I am currently playing Varsity football with the Missouri Valley College Vikings.

I want to make a career in football. I am I am a team player that is willing to do what the team needs to be successful, not just what I want.  In my football career, doing what was best for the team means that I have played nearly every position on the gridiron at some point. On the offensive side of the ball I have played REC, Slot, FB, and most recently TE. I have also played LB and Safety.

My high school coaches have always said that champions rise to the biggest games. In 2021 we were the Tier 1 Elite Provincial champions (equivalent to your State Championship).  I played my best game of the season that day with 3 big stops on the 2 yard line, a fumble recovery, a QB sack, and many tackles. I want to compete, I want to keep playing, I want to grow, and I want to win.
