Orin Schellenberg '21 Recruiting Profile

Playing football at the post-secondary level would fulfill a dream of mine and be a great opportunity that not many people get to experience. I thrive most at the receiver position and because of my crafty, high level football intelligence, I am comfortable at many other positions such as Long Snapper, Defensive Back, Quarterback and Special Teams. A part of my game that separates me from other recruits is my ability to catch balls in high traffic situations and my ability to attack the ball at its highest point. My steady personality allows me to be calm under pressure and keeps me unaffected by trash talk so I can make the big plays when it's crucial. I'm an engaged high school student, active in other sports and working with my coaches to further our football programs. I'm focusing more of my energy in academics as I don't want to miss any opportunities to further myself. Even before I could walk I gravitated towards playing with a nerf football and I am excited for the opportunity to go to the next level in amateur sports.
