My name is Derek Yurechuk, and I've only been a fan of football for about 2 years or so, but it has been the best choice in my life to indulge myself in this sport. I've been putting in extra work whenever I can and it has paid off. Something that sets me aside from other quarterbacks is I have an easy time reading coverages and I'm not afraid to run the ball if the play gets rough, not to mention a dual-threat playstyle helps me manage the field. What sets me aside is my accountability when the going gets tough, my coach can always look my way and know I'm the first to step in. A healthy habit I have is I am addicted to the weight room, I am constantly improving myself in all major lifts such as deadlift, bench, squat and power cleans, but I'm always sure to put in just as much work on the field. I had also led my league in passing touchdowns by over double and touchdowns by double, not to mention 2 rushing touchdowns, while only playing 6 games in my Canadian season. I have grown exponentially compared to the film I have provided, I have improved both in size, football IQ, durability, speed, and every other aspect you can think of. I was put on a low division 3 team, and as a rookie quarterback, I smashed the other teams most of the quarterback stats. If you put me on a team of equal skill and devotion I have to this sport, you would see a quarterback like no other.
