Kane McNamara '20 Recruiting Profile

I am from Alberta Canada, I live in a small rural farming community north east of Edmonton the capital of Alberta. I started my football career in grade 8, where I practiced with the high school team. I stared at linebacker the next year in grade 9.  In the middle of my grade 10 year my team folded because we only had 15 player and couldn't finish the season with such low numbers. The next season I decided to make the commitment of driving three hours each day to join our revival team. In my grade 11 year I stared at both running back and linebacker for my new team. Playing both defence and offence each game. In this past year I again started at both linebacker and running back, I was also the backup quarterback. This past season was the funnest football of my life, I loved every second of it. I also played the best I have ever played winning MVP for my team. I am passionate, dedicated and committed to football, I hope to continue playing at a college which will allow me to grow both academically and as an athlete.
