Austin McNamara '19 Recruiting Profile

My name is Austin McNamara and I am a 6”4” class of 2019 kicker and punter from Gilbert, AZ.    My longest field goal in a game is 45 yards and in practice I have kicked 58 yards.  At the end of my freshman season, I was pulled up to varsity for the state playoffs and now I'm the starting varsity kicker and punter as a senior. I'm a 3 year Varsity starter.  As a sophomore, I finished 14th in the state of Arizona last season for punting average (no other sophomores in the top 25). Out of the 2019 class, I'm ranked 2nd as a punter and 30 as a kicker. I'm a 5 star punter and 4.5 star kicker by Chris Sailer Kicking. Im ranked 4th as a punter and a 5 star on Kohl's Kicking. I recently received a full scholarship to the The University of Arizona, Arizona State University, The University of Missouri, and Utah State University as well as a preferred walk-on spot at The University of Nebraska, University of California Los Angeles, Washington State University, and The University of Utah. I'm also a Member of the Chris Sailer Top 12. 

I am a hard worker and strive to get better anyway that I can.  I practice year round and compete in national kicking camps.  During the football season, I put in extra work on top of my actual practices.  I am looking to attend a university where I can grow on and off the field,  help other people around me,  and make a difference.  I am interested in pursuing a career in Business.
