Jaylen Johnson '23 Recruiting Profile

When it comes to my future, I’ve always wanted to go to college. Others members of my family have laid the groundwork for me to walk on a path of success.  Football has been a privilege and I’m excited that there is a possibility to continue on that path.  My goal is to play college football and obtain my degree. With that being said, I’m a program guy. I’m betting on myself for my senior season. Didn’t get an opportunity my Jr. season .
That being said, with people transferring and leaving early for the pro’s , I just want to invest my time and effort into a university that is willing to invest in me. I see myself as a 4 or 5 year guy. In that time, finding ways to better myself and establishing roots in the community that I’m in at the time. I work hard and make plays. I’m not a blazer or will wow you with an insane cutback. I’m the guy that’s on the stat sheet with 9 catches for 112 yrds and TD , but you don’t even know how.  I just want to trust the process and win. My grades aren’t the best but I will finish strong and get the job done as usual. I appreciate you for taking time to read my statement. Thank You!
