Hello. Thank you for taking the time out to get to know me a little bit better and learn about my love for athletics, especially football. I was born in Southern California, raised in Arizona and have been heavily involved in sports since an early age including Pop-Warner football, Little League and a number of club teams. I'm 5' 10", 190 lbs. and primarily play Running Back, Line Backer, and Kick Returner for the Williams Field High School Black Hawks in Gilbert, AZ. I'm heading into my senior year. I am known to coach's and parent's as the kid with the extra gear and who leaves it all on the field. I try and always lead by example and figure out a way to work alongside my teammates and get the job done.
My years at Williams Field have been a great experience all around. Our Varsity football team went undefeated when I was a sophomore and won the State Championship for the first time. This coming year is going to be my year to let the stats speak for themselves and to how bad I want this. I have been blessed up to this point to be able to play on both sides of the ball and average around 200 all purpose yards every game. After football season I head right into wrestling and play baseball in the spring. I'm highly competitive and that comes across in every sport I'm involved in. Over the years I've been a part of many great teams and coaches that have led to multiple state championship teams in all 3 sports which has taught me many lessons that have stuck with me playing at a higher level.
I can be a very vocal leader in all 3 of my sports teams but I prefer to lead by example. I feel that if my friends or teammates see me working hard in the classroom, weight room, field, etc. that will push them to make themselves better. I stay humble, kind, respect the game, the coaches and my teammates. I am often told I don't know how not to give it 100% when I'm out on the field. I'm working on balancing that more in each sport, especially football and wrestling.
I would ultimately like to play at the next level somewhere and pursue a business degree or possibly engineering. To continue playing the game I love and being able to pursue a college education is my ultimate goal. I am a hard working young man that will always push myself to be better on and off the field.
Thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule to learn a little about me and hopefully you will follow my progress this session. Check out some of my highlights on Hudl and I'll be sure to keep them updated once the season starts. I can't stop - won't stop pursuing my football dream!
