My Name Is Mark Chapman. I am a senior at Monument Valley in Kayenta Arizona located in the Heart of the Navajo Nation. I am an enrolled member of the Navajo Tribe. I current play wide receiver for the undefeated Monument Valley Mustangs. I am one of the team captains for this season. I am a strong leader on the team and the other players look to me for guidance. I hope to take these traits to the next level. Being Native american and living on the reservation brings me lots of insight . It has shaped my goals to be able to leave the reservation and get a college degree that I can bring back to the reservation and help it grow. I enjoy all outdoor activities especially hiking, hunting and fishing. I was voted Second Team all conference my Junior year. I was voted First Team all conference my Senior year. I was honored by the Navajo Times as offensive player of the year. I was voted to the First Team All-State by the Arizona Football Coaches Association. I was selected to play in the Native American ALL Star game on July 2nd 2017 in Dallas, Texas
