My name is Jalen Daniels and my father named me "Big Kid", because I was a 10lb baby.

I want to use sports as a platform for a higher purpose that's bigger than just the game. I love God and my family! I'm a winner and will do whatever I have to do to come out with the win. I'm teachable and never think that I'm too great to learn. My grandfather said that I can learn something from every person I encounter. I'm always craving knowledge and ask a lot of questions, just like my dad said he did when he was younger. I want to be the best at whatever I set my mind to and I want to be the best that ever walked this earth at Quarterback and whatever I choose in life. God had blessed me with athleticism, my height and natural body build but I believe in the concept of Heart over height. Put me in a gym, in a classroom, on a court or a field with any person no matter who and I won't be outworked.
