Joshua Daniels '17 Recruiting Profile

My name is Joshua Daniels.

I didn't start playing football until high school. I played soccer and ran track before deciding to play football, so my upside in football is amazing. My football IQ has increased every year since I started, because my work ethic is top flight. I'm extremely athletic and use my size, speed and athletic ability on both sides of the ball at WR and FS. I recently had to overcome the death of my grandma before my season opening game. I was extremely close to my grandma and her passing has taught me greater focus, fortitude and to play with a purpose outside of myself. My offensive blocking is a strong indication of the team player that I am and I celebrate my teammates TD's and accomplishments because I know that all great plays require a whole team effort.

I'm one of four boys and my father played professional soccer, so I'm very competitive and self motivated. I'm strong academically and I have high character. I'm a Christian and understand my civic duty in my community. My parents own group homes for at-risk youth and I assist them in our business often. I'm looking forward to playing College football and maximizing the talents and opportunities that I've been given.
