Bryce Butler '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Bryce Butler and I am a Defensive End and Linebacker at Desert Vista High School in Phoenix, Arizona. Growing up, I was a very active kid and sports practically ruled my life. I started watching football as soon as I came out of the womb and I have been in love with the game for as long as I can remember. I've always appreciated the strategy and challenge of football and admired how physically and mentally challenging it is. As much as I wish I could play football until I am old and decrepit I know that is not the case, which is why I also take time to enjoy other extracurriculars such as painting, sketching and baking. I'd like to take out as much from the sport as possible while I still can, but I know there will be a day where the pads will have to be hung up. Which is why I take time to apply the critical-thinking side of myself that I use on the field into engineering and architectural aspects of studies along with maintaining a 3.7 GPA throughout highschool to give my future self as many opportunities as possible.
