Personal Statement

Hello I'm Jackson Groff! A 2018 starting wide receiver for Northwest Christian High School. I've been dreaming about playing football in college since I was 5 years old. It's been a passion of mine for 12 years. Ever since my dad walked on and played football at Central Michigan University, I've been wanting to do the same and play at the next level. I'm a good candidate because I'm a hard worker, determined to get the job done, and a good encourager. I'm a great route runner and love proving others wrong when I play football. I love making my teammates better every day in practice. I'm a good route runner, blocker, and catch most balls thrown my way. I'm willing to lay my body out for someone else to make the play successful.  I also play on the varsity basketball(SG) and track team(110m Hurdles, 300m Hurdles, 4x100m relay, & 4x400m relay). My GPA currently is at 3.69. I haven't taken the ACT yet but I plan on taking it on April 19. I believe that an education is most important. I just got accepted into the National Honor Society and I'm on honor roll. In conclusion, please check out my NCSA profile and my Hudl highlights from my 2016 Junior season. Thank you and God Bless!

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
