My name is Ryan Swecker I am a 16 Year old that goes to Flowing Wells High School as a sophomore. I want to talk about the biggest incident in my life that has influenced me who I am today athletically and mentally. My parents Have the biggest impact on me but my first P.E. Coach was the first effect on me. He is the one that got me interested into football and all sports in general. He was the one who made me realize that I could actually go somewhere with sports if I keep working towards it. It all really started in 5th grade for me when we could finally could join the football team. There were 2 teams an A-team and B-team I thought I was going to make B-team cause all 5th graders did. Then the day he showed who made A-team and who made B-team I was surprised I was the only 5th grader to make A-team. Which that year was the one to start it all for me and football.
I learned that I could push myself harder than I thought I ever could and really see the outcome and the goals I reached at the end. I saw that I was good at multitasking and doing school work and playing football at the same time without any problems. My goals for my grades in high school are to have a 3.5 and maintain A’s and B’s the whole time so I can always be far away of having a D or worse. I plan on graduating with a gold diploma which is the best at my high school being over a blue diploma so I can have more opinions for college. For college I plan on being the same way with having A’s and B’s the whole time so I don’t have to worry of failing a class. I have never had to overcome any obstacles accept minor injuries. That is really how football started for me and the goals I want to reach at the next level academically.
